Hotel Landhaus Sonnenhof in the historic Black Forest village of Todtnau is a cozy retreat nestled in a nature conservation area surrounded by wooded mountains. Our family had a wonderful stay, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure our comfort - even printing menus in Polish for us! The local cuisine served at the restaurant was a delightful highlight, especially the daily 4-course dinners featuring excellent regional wine selections. The indoor swimming pool and sauna were a hit with both adults and children, providing a perfect relaxation spot after a day of hiking through the nearby waterfalls and trails. Pet-friendly and offering ample space and tranquility, it's an ideal base for couples and families looking to unwind and explore the beauty of the Black Forest. The personal touch of the private hosts truly made our stay memorable, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that felt like a true home away from home.
